Brian Allen Davidson, age 50

In the early morning on Wednesday September 3rd, 2025, our family heard the dreadful news of our brother Brian’s passing. During this time of mourning, we reflect on our short time we have had with our brother. Brian was the only boy in our all girl family and was the second oldest.

Our oldest sibling, Stephanie, says people who knew Brian would happily say how friendly he was and that he knew everyone. He loved talking to anyone who would listen, cracking jokes and making them laugh. On every Mother’s Day, Brian would always dedicate the day to Stephanie and always told her how lucky he was to have her as an older sister because if it wasn’t for her, we wouldn’t know where we all would be today after our beloved mother passed away in the fall of 1989 had she not taken all of us in and raised us.

Heidi, who was Brian’s closest sibling, talked to him on most days when Brian would call  just so he would have someone to talk to on his long way to work just talking about any and everything. She will always remember him as being a great friend and a loving brother.

His little sister Amy thanks her big brother for her love for Metallica when he would blast it and teach his little sisters how to head bang to it. Amy still continues her love for them to this very day. She loved sitting with him in his room just listening to music with him. Another fond memory both Amy and his other little sister Mindy (both of whom are twins) have was our introduction to Bevis and Butthead. He got in lots of trouble for that one, but we have carried that as a great memory to reminisce to.

One of Mindy’s favorite memories of him includes playing hide-and-seek with him and when he put her in the upper cabinet above his closet and when he opened the door, she used the spoon he had hidden there and whacked his fingers with it which made him really mad but made her giggle. She was someone Brian could come to when he had questions about things he didn’t understand and he was always happy to listen to her explain whatever it was to him. He always said he was grateful for that.

Even though he lived in Arkansas and all his sisters lived in California, he was always asking about everyone when he called.

Brian leaves behind lots of friends and family spread across many states which includes Arkansas and California.

He has finally gone back home to see our mother, grandma, grandpa, his father, and so many others we have lost along the way. One day the rest of us will meet again, which includes all of us sisters, his son Shawn, his nieces and nephews, Sam who has been one of Brian’s biggest supporters, alongside all his other family and friends.

This lifetime for Brian has ended but his next journey in the afterlife still awaits him.
