John Clifton Blanchard, age 82, of Redfield, Arkansas passed away on July 31, 2024. He was born in Dell, Arkansas on October 21, 1941 to parents J.C. Blanchard and Lona Mae (Burns) Blanchard who preceded him in death along with his sister Vanda Ann Blanchard.
John was a mechanic and an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, and playing Horseshoe. John enjoyed watching sports, especially WWE Wrestling, Football, and Baseball. His favorite team was the San Francisco 49ers. John was very close with his family and loved them dearly. He will be missed by all who knew him.
John is survived by his wife Judy Blanchard; daughter Connie Worthen; grandchildren John Benjamin Myers, Tisha Wilkerson and Jonathan Uphold; great-grandchildren Hayden Wilkerson and Bryce Wilkerson; siblings Wilma Leona Pearson, William “Bill” Clark Blanchard, Chester Carl Blanchard, James Ray Blanchard, Lyda Belle Smith, Leota Mae Birdsong, Winston Carlile Blanchard, Cleveland Earl Blanchard, J.C. Blanchard Jr, Darla Willene Cole, Byrd Lovon Blanchard (Burns), Roger Dale Blanchard, and Sandra Carol Bloch; stepsiblings Jack Blanchard, Jeff Blanchard, Virginia, Tracy, and June; along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends.
A memorial service will be held to honor John’s life on Friday, August 9, 2024 at 2:00pm in the chapel at A Natural State Funeral Service in Jacksonville, Arkansas.
