On June 17, 2023, Carolyn Sue Bohannon was completely healed from cancer, dystonia, diabetes and heart disease by Jehovah-Rapha, “THE GOD WHO HEALS”. It was a difficult journey, but she held onto what Jesus said in John 16:33 and wore a smile on her face through trials and sorrows. That smile was there whether she felt it or not. She was claiming with her smile that she believed Jesus’ words “Take heart… I have overcome the world.”
Carolyn cared about people and had a humungous heart for helping those in need. She was a retired nurse. She raised two daughters who adored her. She was a foster mom and an advocate for children with La Casa. Her heart was full of love for children and puppy dogs, especially her King Charles Cavalier, Beau.
This legendary woman was preceded in death by her father, Harold Miller; loving mother, Virginia Strader; and loving husband Robert Stanley Bohannon.
She is survived by her daughters, Tammy Casey (Joe Casey) and Debi Beasley-Scott (Chris Scott); also by her “bonus daughters” Rachel Waddle (Joey Waddle) and Robin Shepherd (Jeb Shepherd); her sisters, Charlotte Walsh (Allen Walsh) and Susan Cisek; her precious grandchildren who called her Mimi, Milaya Crowder (Kevin Crowder), Greer Waddle, RJ Casey (Stephanie Casey), Daniel Casey, Kyle Rushin (Lacey Rushin), Joy Casey, Hope Casey, Kolby Rushin (Kaitlyn Johnson-Nhem), Trey Casey, Ernie Casey, Leeza Scott, Luby Casey and Eric Shepherd; and her great grandchildren, Caspian Crowder, Milo Crowder, Hudson Rushin, Danae Crowder, Kekoa Casey, Danny Stewart, Eowyn Crowder, Sawyer Rushin and Hazel Casey.
She was loved by her family, church family and friends, and enjoyed showing hospitality, sewing and giving gifts.
We will celebrate this beautiful, loving woman and the life she lived at Friendship Baptist Church, in Sherwood AR on June 21, 2023 at 11:00am. We ask for you to wear her favorite colors, red or pink, and remember all she has done and her beautiful smile.

Carolyn was a remarkable woman who helped to make the world a better place for those suffering from dystonia. She was generous with her time in supporting others in the dystonia community and helped so many people. I am grateful to have known her and extend my sympathies to her family and friend.
Carolyn and Stan were angels sent from Heaven. I wish I could have met them sooner. Carolyn you will be missed dearly.
We have met angels here on Earth the day that Mr. and Mrs. Bohannon rang our doorbell one evening with some fresh baked “hot” right out the oven bread to introduce themselves to us.
The fishing invites, recommendations for vacation homes at Greers Ferry Lake and travel ideas will be missed.
Sincerest condolences 💐 to the family, friends and the residents of Phase II Pennepointe Estates.
Our prayer is that our Heavenly Father guard your hearts today, tomorrow and forevermore. ♥️🌸
she was my me me and I miss her
