In Loving Memory of Junior C. Carrier
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Junior C. Carrier of Beebe, Arkansas, who left us peacefully on August 5, 2025. Born on January 31, 1955, he was the beloved son of John H. Carrier and Tealie J. Henson Carrier.
Junior was preceded in death by his parents; sisters Minnie Staggs, Saluda Mae Hooks, and Martha Holland; and brothers Herbert Carrier, John Carrier Jr., and William Carrier.
He is survived by his beloved children: Miranda Brown and her fiancé William Shaffer, Tammy Carrier and Steven Miller, and Nikki Carrier. He also leaves behind Brandon Custer whom he loved like a son and Brandon’s wife, Morgan. Junior was a proud grandfather to Samantha Brown, Travis Brown, Ashton Shaffer, Makayla Hill (and her husband Quinton Hill), Bailey Glaspell, Connor Carrier, Skylar Miller, Katie Crawley (and her husband Wyatt Crawley), Natalie Stewart (and her husband Phillip Stewart), Mike Miller, and Rylie Custer and Ryder Custer. His legacy continues through his great-grandchildren: Landon Brown, Bentley Glaspell, Gideon Crawley, and Brody Miller. He also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and friends he considered family.
Junior was known for his adventurous spirit, bold personality, and big heart. He was a storyteller at heart, always ready to share a laugh or a memory. He loved playing pool, enjoying a drink with friends, and spending time around a table playing cards and farkle with those he loved. He was a proud member of the Steel Workers Union.
A Family-Hosted Celebration of Life will be held at New Horizons Baptist Church in Ward, Arkansas, on August 16th visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m., followed by the service at 2:00 p.m., officiated by David Pruitt.
Junior will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His vibrant spirit, sense of humor, and love for life will remain in the hearts of those he touched. In lieu of flowers please send donations in his memory to the New Horizons Baptist Church.

Junior has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. He was my friend and a brother to me. I will miss him more than I can find words to say. I love you bro till we meet again I will always carry you in my heart. Thank you for so many good times and great memories.
