Cheri Lynn Hendrix, age 67, of Ward, Arkansas passed away on August 4, 2025 in Searcy, Arkansas. She was born in Long Beach, California on October 30, 1957 to William Reeves and Juanita (Warfield) Reeves.
Cheri is preceded in death by her parents, husband of 35 years James Hendrix I, son William “Billy” Danner, and sister Janice Havner.
She is survived by four children Joy Armstrong (Wes), Kevin Danner (Jennifer), Mandy Hendrix, and James Hendrix II (Marissa); 16 grandchildren Caleb, Chase, Serenity, Lydia, Chance, Austin, Autumn, Rhyley, Draven, Zoey, Katrina, Hailee, Kyler, Sydney, McKinzey, and Tri; 5 great-grandchildren Ariat, Braxten, Cole, Braxten H., and Evie Kate; two sisters Ethlyn Haughtlen and Joy Giles. She is also survived by her best sister friend Jannette Coleman and her life partner Wayne Hammersley.
Cheri enjoyed being a CNA for 22 years. She loved shopping, facetiming, and spending time with her grandkids. She also loved her animals, Rat Dog and Sissy. Cheri will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 8, 2025 at 10:00am with funeral service starting at 11:00am at River of Life Church located at 32339 Hwy 17, Brinkley, Arkansas 72021. Burial to follow at Prospect Cemetery in Moro, Arkansas.
