Elizabeth Mollie Bannister Meuse of Bryant, Ar. passed away August 7, 2024 at The Springs in North Little Rock, Ar. at the age of 94 years. She was born Nov. 22, 1929 in Farmington, Mo. the daughter of the late Dennis and Fannie (DeWeese) Thomure. She was preceded in death by her first born, a daughter Linda Patterson, granddaughter Kimberly Starks, three brothers Phillip, Edward and Herbert Thomure and three sisters Joy Johnson, Lorraine Barnes and Laura “Loretta” Bowyer.
Elizabeth is survived by her two sons Lynn Zolman (Susan)Bannister Jr. of Little Rock, Ar. and Joseph “Randy” (Linda) Meuse of O’Fallon, Mo. her four daughters Wilma (Garry) Loafman of Rockwall, Tx. Mary Godsey of Sherwood, Ar. Deborah (Edward) Furgason of Bryant, Ar. and Patricia Robinson of St. Charles, Mo. She had 22 grandchildren, 22 Great-grandchildren, and one great great-grandchild.
Elizabeth enjoyed working in the yard with her plants. She loved to cook and bake for her family especially her chicken and dumplings, amazing pies, and her awesome chocolate chip cookies. The new babies were always a bright spot in her life. She was the heart of the family and will truly be missed.
There will be a family-hosted “Celebration of Life”, at 4111 Millbrook, Bryant, Ar. 72022 on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at 2:00pm.
