Marie Ford, age 95

Marie Ford, age 95, of Sherwood, Arkansas gracefully passed away on Monday, July 31, 2023. She was born in Emmett, Arkansas on March 28, 1928 to the late Lesterbe Tyree.

Marie was a very simple person but had the biggest personality. When she was younger, she enjoyed fishing, cooking for her family, and reading. She also always loved sitting on her porch enjoying the sunshine. Marie was loved by many and will truly be missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her mother, Marie is preceded in death by her siblings; her husband Bloomer R. Ford; children Delores M. Ford, Gwendolyn Lucille Stokes, Bloomer Ford Jr, Charles E. Ford, and Glen D. Ford; granddaughter Angela Ford; and great-granddaughter Kelsey Strozier.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory children Bobby J. Ford, Beverly Bursey, Mary D. Ford, and Pamela Crew; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; and many more nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A visitation will be held on Friday, August 4, 2023 at 12:00pm with a funeral service starting at 1:00pm at A Natural State Funeral Service in Jacksonville, Arkansas. Burial to follow at Arkansas Memorial Gardens in North Little Rock, Arkansas.
