Douglas Jack Decker, age 69

Douglas Jack Decker, age 69, of Maumelle, Arkansas passed away Saturday, July 22, 2023. He was born in Wurzburg, Germany to the late Jack Decker and the late Irene Mercer Decker.

In 2003, Doug gave his life to Christ and at that time he committed to turning his life around and became an active member of Morgan Full Gospel Church. A gifted guitarist, Doug had an incredible talent for composing his own music. His memory will continue to live on through the lives he touched and the music that resonates in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.

He is survived by his three children Harley Decker, Amanda Decker (Adam Stowe) and Jeremy Decker (Renee); and grandchildren Nathaniel, Lindsey, Marley, Harley James, Courtney Ann, Karlee and Keilee. His grandson, Ace, preceded him in death. Doug also leaves behind two sisters, Ruth Ann and Sandra; and the mother of his children, Terry Decker.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to A Natural State Funeral Service to help the family pay for Doug’s funeral service.
