My pawpaw was a wonderful man. He will be greatly missed. He drove me to school every morning all of elementary school and Junior high and we would listen to this cassette type he loved country music singer Little Jimmy Dickens. One time when I was about 4 years old Nanny went somewhere and left Pawpaw to babysit me and I was allowed to ride my tricycle in the backyard only to a certain tree, well I passed that tree, & I rode my tricycle into the lake! Well pawpaw had to jump in the lake to get me out. I have many fond memories of us together over the years so it was not a sacrifice to stay at home and take care of him in the last years of his life. I did everything I possibly could to keep him in the same house he shared with my nanny. I believe my son, his great grandson, Adrian brought him a lot of Joy over the last 5 years. Rest in peace Carroll Thomas Boyd

Thoughts and prayers to all the (our) family.
Carroll was a great person and was a really important part of my childhood. I’ll forever remember fishing in the back yard, him and aunt Jean coming to check on me, and making me come inside to cool off and drink Kool-Aide. There are so many other things to numerous to list.
