David John Proffer, age 65, of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away unexpectedly at his home on April 23, 2023. He was born on February 22, 1958 to Donald H. Proffer and Marilyn R. Proffer in St. Louis, Missouri.
Those left to cherish his memory are his mother Marilyn Proffer; his daughters Laura (Chet) Roberson of Sherwood and Katie (Andy) Wetherington of Little Rock; one grandson Chester Roberson and two granddaughters Isabelle Roberson and Rylee Wetherington and his granddogs; His brothers Donald “Kirk” Proffer of Jacksonville, Bob (Sharon) Proffer of Florissant, Missouri, and one sister Susan (Danny) Hill of Beebe; and his nephews and great-nieces.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2023 from 2:00-4:00pm at A Natural State Funeral Service in Jacksonville, Arkansas.

I met Dave in78 .he was a man knew no stranger he was known and loved by many. I will miss him to the end of my days . A true friend is rare. RIP BROTHER!

I’ve known Dave since 1977. Worked with him in Mgmt at Tao Bell. Created a great friendship and always made it a point to meet up with him whenever I was in Arkansas. Great memories and fun times.One of the few people I could call a true friend. RIP Dave.

More than a best friend, he was like my brother. I will never forget times at deer camp, fishing trips and other adventures. Always smiling, he lifted my spirit when it was running low. There is a vacancy in my soul, which can never be replaced. Rest in peace my friend.
